Benefits not Essential

There are now various routes available to qualify for ECO funding and, depending on which region you live, you don’t necessarily have to be in receipt of benefits or allowances to qualify.

Local Authority Flexible funding (LA Flex) is now available in many Council regions and provides and alternative access to the same funding those on benefits get.

  • Universal Credit
  • Tax Credits (Child or Working Tax Credit)
  • Income based Jobseekers allowance
  • Income related Employment & Support Allowance
  • Income Support
  • Housing Benefit
  • Pension Credit

Remember though, if you don’t receive any of these, it’s still worth enquiring to find out if LA Flex is available in your area
